Visiting Þórsmörk gives you a good chance to meet Kári the Arctic fox and the self-proclaimed Lord of Þórsmörk in his natural environment. You may have to be patient as Kári sets his clock according to his own time, but when he is out and about, he shows why he is the real lord of Þórsmörk. Best time to visit Kári is during fall and winter months, from late August until the end of March.
